Hangin' with my bud

After a lot of little jobs, both indoors and out I was able to get some relaxation time.

The weather has been cooler than usual of late, and the usually high humidity has been almost non-existent. My wife has been saying that it’s now autumn and I refuse to use the term while it is still August, however true she may be.

I did some yard work yesterday (chopping wood, cutting grass, trimming the edges of the lawn - we have mostly edges and very little lawn) and some indoor work (moving cabinets, organizing shelving). By about 5 PM, I finally was able to get some free time.

After getting the charcoal going for the BBQ and preparing myself a G&T, I crawled into the hammock with Muffin. I said to Muffin that times like these (nice weather and relaxing in the hammock) are coming to an end for this year. It’s good to stop and enjoy life when you can.

Let’s hope I’m wrong and we’ll be able to enjoy a lot more of this weather and it’ll be a little longer until autumn comes. But for now, I’m enjoying swaying slowly back and forth, back and forth in the hammock with my bud. Cheers from us!
