What a great start to our Golden Week of holidays.It was sunny today with a beautiful blue sky, and the temperature was in the high 20’s (Celcius).For many years now we have been blessed to know friends that grow and sell strawberries. Each year after they finish selling their strawberries, they invite friends and family to enjoy the fruits of their labour.We enjoyed eating many strawberries while we were picking and took back many strawberries to our home. We share the strawberries with friends and neighbours and enjoy them ourselves.We made jams, both freezer and cooked, frozen chopped and whole berries (we’ll use throughout the year to make ice cream, milkshakes and to eat as is) and kept a few containers to eat as is over the next couple of days.Many thanks again for the strawberries.
