It was cold, earlier in the week.

Well, this is it I thought. Fall is passing the baton to winter. Time to get out the sweaters, the portable heater and so on. The skies were grey, the winds were cold, the thoughts were not happy.

And then, today, look what we have. Sunny weather. Warmth. Green. Life.

Winter is coming, and my sweaters are now close at hand. But it’s not here yet. And as long as days like today continue, I’ll be happy.
