We were lucky enough to be once again invited to go strawberry picking at a friend’s farm.

The weather, though a bit cloudy and hazy at the outset, stayed rain-free and was also quite warm.

Upon our return home, we shared strawberries with many friends and neighbours.

I made 3 batches of freezer jam, while my wife made an equivalent amount of cooked jam. We saved some strawberries for eating, and froze some of them as well.

Next weekend I look forward to making some pancakes and having them with our fresh jams.
