Thank you すっぱむーちょ

Joy of joys, すっぱむーちょ recently released a 25th anniversary line of potato chips that are vinegar-flavored.

One of my favorite snack foods is potato chips. I grew up eating them, and in my hometown of Winnipeg, Manitoba, we usually ate Old Dutch potato chips. These chips were locally made and contained a variety of flavors, but my favorite was the Salt and Vinegar flavored ones.

My experience in Japan with potato chips is that while there are often some pretty interesting flavored chips offered from time to time, the usual flavors offered are often limited in nature.I've written about this earlier this year, when I discovered a really nice sour variety of potato chips. The company then, and the company now that is making these great chips is Koikeya.

These recently purchased chips are labelled as a 25 year Thank-you product by the company on the bags of the chips. These new chips are vinegar flavored. Very, very rarely does one find snacks that are vinegar flavored here. I feel that the Sour Mucho Strong chips were a bit more sour that these current chips, but this is just nitpicking.

The chips are crunchy, sour and a joy to eat. I've already bought numerous bags, and finished most of them. I know they will not be around long, and from what I've seen over the last few days, they are only found at very few stores. While they exist, I will enjoy them; once they're gone I'll have to wait until Koikeya comes to my rescue again.

Koikeya, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for your products. Keep up the great work.

Sincerely, a dedicated follower.
