February's Cooking Lesson

The cooking class met again this week and cooked up some more delicious food.

Our lunch consisted of Chicken Adobo, rice and some carrots. Simple fare, really. But it was good.


The chicken adobe was tangy, and with the addition of coconut milk very rich tasting. The carrots, being sweet balanced out the sourness from the chicken. Steamed white rice was good for enjoying every last bit of the adobo sauce.


For dessert we had French Apple Cake.

The cake is custardy on the bottom and slightly crunchy on the top. Loaded with apples it was a great finish to the meal along with coffee and tea.
