Pickled Peppers

Pickled peppers, anyone?


Peter piper picked a peck of pickled peppers.


Unfortunately, he didn't give any to me. So, using peppers from our garden and those graciously given from another friend, I was able to make these pickled peppers.


I simply made an incision into each pepper, tossed them into a pot with vinegar and salt, and let them boil for a couple of minutes.


Next, they were put into clean jars with a clove of garlic, and sealed.


In a few days, I'll try them and see whether we'll use them as is, or blend them into a sauce.


I'm keeping them in the fridge so there's no chance of spoilage.


Peter, you can keep your peppers. I've made my own!
