While I enjoy teaching my classes at the 2 universities I teach at part-time, the grading period is something l'm not crazy about.

With over 175 students, there is a lot of tests to correct, and grades to be assigned. Of course, sooner is always preferred too later.

There was so much material to go through and I was sure it would take me over one week to pour over all the material, but hard work over 4 or 5 days allowed me to finish the job much sooner than anticipated. I checked and double-checked, and finally at the end of last week, I was finally able to submit the final grades for the first term at the 2 universities.

With that work done, I can now work on cleaning areas that were not cleaned very much over the past few weeks, including our parking lot (lots of weeds), and enjoying some of what summer has to offer.

I now have a couple of months to think, make notes, prepare, and be ready for the fall term of university classes that will begin in October.
