I noticed these different coverings on the streets of Naruto shortly after we moved here. In all my life I had never seen artwork on different metal street coverings that I could remember. Could this be something peculiar to Naruto?

One thing you will notice is that almost every covering contains the whirlpool symbol on it, which is the symbol of this city. Also, each different type of covering has its own unique artwork. This means that if a city worker is looking for water pipe, they can identify the pipe by the covering on top.

The fire hydrant coverings are quite colourful and easy to see. Again, I have never seen colourful coverings on any street in any city before this. In Canada we have bright red fire hydrants on the sides of the streets, off of the roads.If you live outside of Naruto, do you have street hole coverings that have artwork?
