March's Cooking Class

Today was our monthly cooking lesson day. Today’s menu reflected the foods from Vietnam.

I am still satisfyingly full from today’s lunch. As I write this, I know there is still a couple of hours till dinner yet my tummy is happy. Lunch was good.

We made various Vietnamese foods today in our cooking lesson.

Bánh mì was the big item on the menu today. This wonderful sandwich included chicken and pickled vegetables. The chicken was prepared with various seasonings and cooked in the microwave. While it cooked, the picked vegetables were prepared, sauces were readied and other fillings were set up for the bread.

While the sandwiches were being filled, we also made a simple pho, a soup that included some noodles, herbs and seasonings.

After lunch, we enjoyed some cookies along with Bubble coffee. The Bubble coffee included black tapioca pearls, condensed milk and strong coffee.

My thanks, as always to the wonderful company I enjoyed while cooking and eating. Now, it’s time to get preparing for the next cooking lesson.
