Don't touch - it's mine!

We received a late Christmas package today.

We received two late Christmas packages today. To be fair, the packages were sent after Christmas and even after New Year’s. But they seemed to take more time that one would think usual to arrive here in Japan. Further inspection showed that the packages were opened by Japan Post for custom’s inspection. I thought people wrote information about the contents of the package so that it would be unnecessary to actually open the packages, but I am wrong. It would seem to be a waste of your time to write anything, as the package will be opened up anyway, without your consent by the way. It’s one thing to open a package going into some secure place, such as a prison but I can’t see how it’s deemed important to open family packages.Included in the packages were a few treats for Muffin. He was excited as we opened the packages and for obvious reasons. He knew there must be something for him and pictured above in his mouth is one of his treats. It’s amazing that he could keep still for the picture.Muffin was so proud to have this toy that he would take turns prancing around us, showing off his new toy and then shaking and biting the toy. He was like a kid in a candy store!Muffin was happy today. My brother was happy that the treats were enjoyed by all. Christmas presents warm the hearts of the giver and the receiver.
