Open sesame!

We were out of bread so I baked some sesame buns today.

Yeah, I could pop over to the store and pick up some more bread, but how hard is it to bake bread?


The mixing and kneading took me 25 minutes. Not so bad. Then the dough was left to rise for 2 hours while I did other things. After shaping into buns at lunch time, these were baked for 25 minutes. All in all, about 1 hour of my time was needed.


After coming out of the oven, I just had to try one with some garlic butter I had leftover from another day. Yum!
