Our other recent addition to the family, Muffin (see here and here) seems to shed some hair from time to time. By this I mean he seems to be continually losing hair!!!

Due to all the extra floor cleaning, we started thinking about getting a robotic vacuum cleaner but have held off because they are always so expensive.

This changed recently when we found out that a local home goods store, Nitori (ニトリ) also started selling this product, but for a lot less money.

Finally this weekend my wife and I had some free time and thus we went to check out the vacuums for ourselves.

We bought the above-pictured vacuum and it seems to be well made.

It will not be the primary vacuum in our home, but will (hopefully) help dealing with Muffin.
