I asked my daughter, “What was the theme for the class?”

My daughter shrugged her shoulders and said “No theme.”

When I asked her what her thoughts or inspirations were for her design, she said “Maybe, … BBQ?”

I have never been one to pretend to understand the complexities or themes behind art, but I know what I like and don’t like. Looking at my daughter’s flower/vegetable arrangement, I have no real idea how she came up with what you see, but I like the balance and colour, and in the end, isn’t that all that matters?

So for all you out there with odds and ends leftover in your garden, or in your fridge, use my daughter’s arrangement to give you inspiration. Put them together, give it a whirl and have fun.
