Yes, Hikawa Kiyoshi was in town for a concert. For those who don’t know, Mr. Hikawa is a famous enka singer. Enka is a Japanese ballad form of singing.

I passed by in the morning and early afternoon, taking these pictures. There were a lot of people milling about, but I heard that later in the day there were even more people. Mr. Hikawa is a popular singer. I heard that he gave two concerts today in Naruto. I imagine that, based on the number of people who attended, the concerts were most enjoyable.
