Science projects

We were busy with 2 projects this weekend.

We had a package arrive the other day. A Christmas package. A big Christmas package. From Canada. Full of lots of goodies.

We’re happy to get packages any time, especially Christmas packages. Any time of the year is OK for us!

Included in the package were 2 science projects for my daughters. One was a home planetarium and the other was a potato clock.

The planetarium required poking holes in the paper, folding, taping and fitting everything together. Once assembled, it sits on a platform and a small lightbulb provides light to come through the holes and onto the walls and ceiling of a dark room.

The potato clock required placing wires into potatoes, adjusting wires and then setting the proper time and functions on the clock.

Both projects kept our daughters busy for a couple of hours and both projects were enjoyed by all.

Thanks for the late Christmas package! We will continue to enjoy the gifts that came from within.
